banner-physioWhat is Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy is a healthcare discipline that focuses on the body’s ability to move and function. A Physiotherapist treats people of all ages with a wide range of health conditions from managing pain or chronic conditions to injury rehabilitation, disease and injury prevention, and education and health promotion.

PRI’s accredited Physiotherapist will recommend a course of treatment that may include in-clinic exercise, manual therapy, and electrical modalities as well as education and home exercise. Emphasis is placed on what you can do to accelerate your rehabilitation and to prevent future injury or disability. Physiotherapy is covered by most insurance plans.
