Dr. Vladimir Levitin, B.Sc., D.C., R.C.R.D., R. AC.

Dr. Vladimir Levitin is at the forefront of technological advances and the latest protocols in managing and treating chronic pain sustained from:

  • Motor vehicle accidents
  • Work related injuries
  • Sports injuries
  • Chronic pain

Dr. Levitin believes in an integrated model of health care delivery and was one of the first to integrate medical, chiropractic, physiotherapy, acupuncture and psychology in one facility. Today, Dr. Levitin is President and co-owner of Polyclinic Rehabilitation Institute. With his partner, Dr. Bob Grossman, they pursue a cooperative model of collaboration and communication between all the providers involved in patient treatment.

In his role as a Clinic Director, Dr. Levitin designs multidisciplinary protocols and programs incorporating aquatic therapy, intramuscular stimulation (acupuncture), psychological counselling, relaxation and more, to achieve the best possible outcomes. He is involved in interdisciplinary education seminars to provide the latest concepts and knowledge to family physicians and specialists. Dr. Levitin enjoys challenging cases which require extensive interdisciplinary knowledge. He also enjoys the medical legal aspects of his practice.

Dr. Levitin began a private practice over 20 years ago in Vaughan, Ontario providing chiropractic care to the community. After 7 years as a solo practitioner, Dr. Levitin became Director of a Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic, then established Integrated Health Recovery, the predecessor to Polyclinic Rehabilitation Institute (PRI).

Dr. Levitin received his B.Sc. from York University, his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, and his R.C.R.D. (Recognized Chiropractic Rehabilitation Doctor) from the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board. He also received certifications from McMaster University as a Certified Acupuncturist; International Certification in Impairment & Disability Rating from the American Board of Forensic Professionals; and Certificate Intramuscular Stimulation for Myofascial and Neuropathic Pain from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Levitin is currently studying Insurance Medicine and Medical Legal Expertise with the University of Montreal. He is a member in good standing with the American Board of Forensic Professionals, Fellow of American Back Society, Canadian Academy of Pain Management, American Academy of Pain Management, Canadian Society of Medical Evaluations, College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Canadian College of Chiropractors.
